Modular exhibition systems are more than just partition walls. They enable flexible working, save resources and open up new design possibilities. In this white paper, we show how the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague achieves just that. The museum has been using a modular wall system since 2017 and has staged over 50 exhibitions with it: quickly, efficiently and always in a new light. A practical example with appeal for museums and exhibition organizers worldwide.

What exhibitions have to achieve today

Anyone who designs spaces, whether in museums, at trade fairs or in brand worlds, is faced with new challenges. They are looking for solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also work in the long term. Three aspects are particularly important here.

Sustainability

The Mila-wall system is made of durable materials, is reusable and particularly CO₂-saving. Instead of classic disposable structures, partition walls are used that can be used, painted and recombined several times. This not only saves resources, but also money. The circularity of our exhibition systems enables sustainable use over many years.

Flexibility

In Prague, more than 50 exhibitions were realized with around 700 modules of various types and in a very short time. The complete exhibition architecture can be set up within two to three days and dismantled just as quickly. Special formats such as video booths or glass walls can also be integrated.

High quality

The partition walls fit seamlessly into sophisticated exhibition concepts. They serve not only as functional supports, but also as design elements that consciously help to shape the spatial effect. Whether classical art, modern photography or expansive installations - the system supports every form of staging at a high level.
