The two artists are among Germany's best-known cartoonists and have been delighting audiences with their original and unique art, which has been featured in newspapers and magazines since the 1990s.
Around 150 originals were presented at the exhibition, including on bright red Mila-wall partition walls from the 100 series, and were effectively showcased using a modern lighting concept. A total of 54 partition walls and 24 corner profiles in various widths were used, all of which had a height of three metres.
The caricatures, which hold up a mirror to society and politics in an amusing way, attracted a great deal of attention and ultimately helped Aschaffenburg to stage the most successful exhibition of the last decade.
