Why custom development with Mila-Wall
Special projects require clear processes, reliable technology and a surface that impresses up close. Mila-Wall combines a modular base with customised components. This results in solutions that function precisely and can still be assembled quickly. Teams receive planning, production and documentation from a single source.
Advantages at a glance:
- Precise implementation for dimensions, angles, radii and technical installations
- Integration into the Mila-Wall system with familiar assembly, transport and storage
- Economical reuse across many applications
- Tested quality with clear documentation for operation and service
Services at a glance
- Concept and technical advice on function, use and process
- CAD design with models, drawings and parts lists
- Prototyping and functional models with rapid iteration
- Preparation for series production with material selection and surfaces
- Testing of stability, suspension and operation
- Documentation with assembly instructions, maintenance and service
Typical special solutions
- Special modules with radii, slopes or large openings
- Fittings for doors, display cases, drawers and concealed storage spaces
- Integration of media such as Mila-Wall Display and Mila-Wall Sound
- Acoustic solutions based on Mila-Wall Acoustic
- Piping frames for fabric coverings and illuminated walls
- Adapters for existing modules and interfaces to third-party systems
Process from idea to handover
1. Briefing
Clarify objectives, content, dimensions, time frame and budget. Record general conditions regarding load capacity, visitor guidance and service access.
2. Design and feasibility
Design proposal with sketches, CAD views and variants. Assessment of effort, time and risks.
3. Prototyping
Create and test functional models. Check ergonomics, appearance at close range and assembly. Incorporate feedback.
4. Development
Production-ready design with materials, connections and surfaces. Define parts lists, manufacturing instructions and quality criteria.
5. Production and acceptance
Production, assembly test and acceptance of the prototype. Document adjustments. Approval for use.
6. Documentation and service
Documents for assembly, maintenance and storage.
Technology, safety and quality
We plan stability and suspension on a project-specific basis. Permissible loads depend on the module, connection and installation. Surfaces remain smooth and blend into the overall picture. Service openings, cable routing and ventilation are taken into account to ensure that operation and maintenance remain simple.
Materials and surfaces
We select materials based on their intended use and stress levels. Surface foils from the MBA range ensure a uniform appearance. Colours, foils and lettering can be customised for each project and removed without leaving any residue if necessary.
