The central exhibit – a low-floor bus of the type ‘Citaro C1’ converted by e-trofit – was showcased on a 270 m² stand area belonging to the Intech Group.
The rear boundary of the stand formed a generous backdrop with clean lines: Mila-wall wall modules mounted up to six metres high with invisible connection technology and replaceable foil surfaces. The diagonal arrangement on the stand area breaks up the rectangular basic shape and creates a strong dynamic effect. The stand design represented a stylised bus bay including a bus stop, where the converted bus was “parked” as an exhibit for visitors.
The adjacent ‘street café’, elevated on a large trapezoidal platform and separated from the bus stop area by green plants on the parapet, invites visitors to linger and can also be used for consultations. The use of light and darker surfaces as well as wood laminate flooring in the area of the suspended ceiling frame in the catering area creates individual zones for orientation, information and encounters, including catering.
Mila-wall wall modules with sturdy aluminium frames were used in combination with custom-made special components.
