The Exhibit C Gallery is considered the leading address for First American Art in Oklahoma City and is operated by the Chickasaw Nation. It displays authentic works by artists from the Chickasaw and other First American communities. The gallery also offers selected products such as Bedré Fine Chocolate, publications from Chickasaw Press, textiles from Mahota and items from Pendleton.

Modular Mila-wall partitions were used to create a spatial dramaturgy, dividing the open floor space into clearly defined thematic areas. Quiet presentation areas for large-format works alternate with compact retail areas. This creates clear sightlines, flexible hanging areas and short distances for staff.

The wall elements can be reconfigured without costly modifications. Curatorial adjustments, temporary displays and seasonal assortments can be implemented quickly. This increases the efficiency of space utilisation, reduces set-up and dismantling times and conserves resources.

The project partner was the OKANA Retail Gallery in Oklahoma City. Our solution combines museum quality with retail functionality and creates a durable stage for art, culture and brands.
