Mila-wall elegantly showcases the unique exhibits while demonstrating true sustainability. Looking back at Dresden's history, it is no surprise that the city is home to such a wealth of art treasures. An affinity for art is a living tradition that can be felt and seen throughout the city. With the founding of the Kunstkammer in 1560, Dresden sent a clear signal of the high value it placed on art and its masters. The devastating blow of destruction in February 1945 left a trauma, but it may also be the reason why the people of Dresden are particularly sensitive to the protection and preservation of works of art.

MBA was able to make a lasting contribution to the security of the valuable collection in the Kupferstichkabinett with Mila-wall partition walls from the Alarm/Safety series. An alarm system that is not visible from the outside is integrated into the walls, monitoring the exhibits in a defined area. Mila-wall partition walls with integrated alarm technology can be integrated into existing surveillance systems, but can also be used independently as individual security measures without permanently installed requirements.

Since 2004, the museum has relied on the aesthetics and versatility of the modular system. The partition walls have now been used in numerous different exhibitions, repeatedly recombined and rearranged, and repainted more than fifty times. The durability of Mila-wall offers the Kupferstichkabinett almost unlimited possibilities and a viable, sustainable system. From classic partition wall situations to elaborate exhibition design, the versatile application possibilities of Mila-wall partition wall technology are fully exploited.
