The Martin von Wagner Museum in Würzburg is one of the largest university museums in Europe. The south wing of the Prince Bishop's residence has been the stage for the art collection since 1963. Surrounded by so much tradition, MBA had to exercise both style and restraint here.
The creation of several small rooms was the remedy of choice. The large museum room was divided into several small areas with Mila-wall elements. Thanks to the versatility of the modular walls, visitors can now appreciate the different creative periods each of the artists exhibited. An aesthetic bonus without creating a corner of a maze.
