Bomann Museum Celle

Bomann Museum Celle

The Bomann Museum in Celle is one of the largest cultural history museums in Lower Saxony.  For more than 100 years, the Bomann Museum has been presenting its collections about the everyday culture of eastern Lower Saxony, the town’s history as well as the history of the former Kingdom of Hanover.
Newly created exhibition areas illustrate the cultural history of the town and its region in a variety of ways.

The "Salvation and damnation - altars and pictures of Erich Klahn" exhibition was installed in the 12 x 12 m wide Hall of Honour, preserving the monumental size of the hall, without interfering optically with the works of Erich Klahn.  A small team was able to quickly set up the lightweight panels in the dense exhibition plan of the museum. Subtle lighting mounted on the upper edge of the wall modules highlights the graphics, textiles and paintings perfectly.
