Since the development of Mila-wall, we've a number of prizes and awards for our modular system and its elements. Here you will find a selection:

Honored with the German Design Award

Mila-wall Acoustic has received the German Design Award. The German design award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council. The unique nomination process ensures that only those products and communication design achievements which stand out with proven design quality are invited to participate. The 2012 initiated German design award is already among the most renowned design competitions worldwide and is also highly regarded far beyond professionals.

Mila-wall acoustic is an AIT 2014 industry trend

The modular wall Mila-wall acoustic is one of the industry trends for the year 2014. A jury of 25 AIT trend Scouts, all of them renowned architects and interior designers, awarded the most important innovations and developments in the area of the exhibition and shop, as well as the interior design for 2011 at the EuroShop in Düsseldorf. Twelve products are each being awarded. One of these twelve excellent innovations is the Mila-wall acoustic from the House of MBA.

Interactive sound wall WINS iF product design award 2011

The Mila-wall sound wall by MBA has been awarded the iF 2011 product design award in the category "public design/interior design". The interactive wall of sound allows the integration of language, texts, sounds and noises in space structures and installations without visible loudspeakers. As a globally recognized "Design Good Seal”, the coveted iF product design award honors outstanding creative achievements. MBA has already received several international awards for quality, innovation and design for the Mila-wall technique in recent years.

iF seal for good design

The iF seal awarded annually by the international product design award distinguishes products with tested design quality for good design. An international jury awarded the Mila-wall product range with the iF seal back in 1997. In the same year, Center Stuttgart also received the Designpreis Mila-wall design.
The Louvre in Paris, the new Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille and the technical Museum in Vienna show their exhibits on the basis of Mila-wall wall modules. Here in the sensitive area of art and space, the pure aesthetics of these walls is clear.


On the occasion of the French Museum exhibition SITEM, 95 in Lille  a jury made up of architects, designers and Museum Directors compared systems. The result: Mila-wall received the first prize for innovation, outstanding technology and design.
