Indiana State Museum

Opened in May, 2002, the 270,000 square-foot museum is, in effect, an exhibit within an exhibit. The actual Museum building construction showcases Indiana state natural resource materials, including limestone, sandstone, brick and glass. The facility includes a three-level, 130,000 square-foot museum, and a four-level, 100,000 square-foot administration/ collections building which houses the museum’s 400,000 artifacts.

In the Indiana State Museum’s 12,000 sq. ft. of changing exhibit space, mila-wall® is giving the museum greater flexibility, less waste and literally, more "rooms" according to Exhibits Director Robin Mackintosh. "We purchased mila-wall® panels with height extenders to completely divide a 7,000 sq. ft. gallery, from floor to ceiling, into two distinct exhibit areas."
