Mila-wall Alarm/Safety

The monitoring of works of art and exhibits requires a highly qualified security technique that is not visible to the viewer and does not affect the aesthetics of the exhibits. At the same time, the panels must meet the requirements of flexibility for art and temporary exhibitions.

Over 160 wall modules from the Mila-wall Alarm/Safety series are used in the Dresden Kupferstichkabinett.

Mila-wall Alarm wall can be equipped for capacitive object monitoring of works of art and exhibits and for connection to monitoring and alarm systems. Electrodes inside wall produce an electronic monitoring field that surrounds the objects. Interruptions in the monitoring field by persons or foreign objects generate a change and thus triggers alarms.

Mila-wall panels can be monitored in groupings or individual panels. The proximity of the electronic monitoring field is in the range from 1 to 2.5 m from the bottom of the panel and begins maximum 400 mm in front of the panel surface. The detector has 9 levels of sensitivity.

More than 160 walls of the Alarm series are in use in the Kupferstichkabinett of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden. Mila-wall Alarm/Safety elegantly accentuates the unique and valuable exhibits while at the same time and invisibly meeting high security requirements.
